This system helps to maintain a objects inventory database and control its movement.
Allows the use of RFID tags, barcodes/QR codes for marking.
The current version is designed to work with a portable RFID scanner, since it does not allow obtaining the exact coordinates of an object (temporarily).
The scanner is used to accurately locate objects in a location (on shelves, for example).
It's not ready for production yet, but it's working in test mode on several objects.

Sold on AliExpress as an antenna unit (for external installation) with a network controller.
All such things are mainly designed to work with barriers, so if you plan to install more than 50 sensors, it’s better not to mess with this.
High percentage of defects, with intensive use the radio part dies (stops seeing the marks).
Sold as a DIY module kit (antenna + sensor + TTL->USB converter).
Was used to develop our solution.
Was develped a custom firmware based on OpenWRT that is better suited for location-based tasks and is capable of running on the MTK SoC (MT7621).
For inventory items from the database, a log of all movements is maintained (where, when, etc.)
For each object, you can get a complete history of its movements.
Allows to keep track of the appearance of tags that are not tied with objects.
Configured in the sensor properties.
All management and monitoring functions are available via the web interface.
In additional, it also provides web services (json-rpc) for automation and integration.
There is a visual editor for working with maps (sensor placement, etc.)
admin - allows to manage users, sensor, locations, maps, ...
user - allows to manage objects registry, locations and movements.
Objects can be movable or not, and be assigned to a specific location.
If an object with a linked location appears somewhere else, the owner is sent a notification.
